In Big Horn County there have been 470 lab confirmed COVID-19 cases, 61 remain active, and 409 are recovered. Also there have been 55 probable cases and 43 of those are recovered. There have been 13 deaths in the county. We must remain aware of this virus and continue to wear masks, practice social distancing, and wash/sanitize our hands often. It is understandable to be tired of this, but we are at a crucial time to stop the spread of COVID 19.

As a reminder almost everyone over 6 months of age should have an annual seasonal influenza vaccination. It is especially important this year so that our healthcare system is not overburdened with influenza cases in addition to COVID-19. Please call the clinic to schedule an appointment for your flu shot if you have not. This vaccination will not prevent COVID-19 but will help our healthcare system and community.

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please call North Big Horn Hospital clinic at 307-548-5201 to schedule an appointment to be seen. If your symptoms are severe, including shortness of breath, altered mental status or severe headache, please call the hospital at 307-548-5200 and advise them that you will be coming into the ER.
