Cash Poster/Pre-Auth Specialist
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from high school or equivalent required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, with the ability to efficiently organize, analyze, and reconcile financial and operational data. Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail are essential to accurately perform cash posting, payment reconciliation, and account balancing. Must possess excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, research issues, and resolve them in a timely manner. Must demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, confidentiality, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of college-level courses in business, accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or office administration is beneficial. Previous experience in a healthcare office, medical billing, revenue cycle, or cash posting environment is highly desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of insurance remittances, electronic payment posting, patient account reconciliation, and healthcare billing systems.
